Genevieve Chapin
Double Bass
Genevieve is a Queens native and graduate of the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College, where she studied with Daniel Krekeler of the Metropolitan Opera. Always experiencing new styles of music, she currently plays all around New York City in volunteer orchestras, pit orchestras, contemporary ensembles, swing and country bands, and an alternative rock band. She joined the String Orchestra of Brooklyn in 2013 and is honored to be involved with a talented orchestra with such strong community roots.
