Ghostlight Chorus
GHOSTLIGHT is a style-flexible, eclectic vocal ensemble with repertoire ranging from Renaissance madrigals and Romantic Lieder to jazz arrangements, sound sculpture compositions, and speech-performance pieces, with an emphasis on a cappella choral compositions from the 19th and 20th centuries.
Founded in 2010 by artistic director Evelyn Troester, the ensemble is an elite chamber choir with 16–20 singers focusing on vocal/choral technique work, musicality, intonation, and rhythm mastery, as well as creative improvisation.
