Violin



Victoria first began with piano at age 8 with Faina Kofman, New England Conservatory, after she was filled with envy watching her older sister progress rapidly when taking lessons. She then added violin at age 11 to expand her portfolio. She has studied violin with George Maxman (former violinist, Boston Symphony Orchestra), Dr. Maxim Korn (former Asst. Concertmaster, Thayer Symphony Orchestra) and Dr. Sahran Kim (former violin instructor, Eastman School of Music). During her undergraduate studies, Victoria served as Concertmaster of the University of Rochester Chamber Orchestra from 2009–2010.

Apart from her classical music adventures, Victoria is also a curious linguist, fluent in German, and has lived in Berlin, Cologne, and Heidelberg, Germany. She holds an M.A. in German Studies from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a B.A in French and German with a minor in music from the University of Rochester.

Victoria performs in various ensembles throughout the New York City region and has been a member of the String Orchestra of Brooklyn since 2017. She is currently based in Queens, NY.
