Andrea started playing the cello in school at age ten and knew she wanted to be a professional musician. After studying cello performance at Boston University’s School for the Arts for three years, she changed schools and career paths, eventually earning her BA in music and psychology and later her PhD in clinical psychology. While all this was happening, Andrea stopped playing for five years and was miserable. She is very grateful to Eli and everyone in the SOB for their patience and humor as she reintroduces herself to the world of music. Outside of this group, her primary pursuits include practicing in her living room and working as a psychologist in a state psychiatric hospital.
